processors and also performs with reliability. Since
CTI servers and computers are expected to perform
critical tasks 24 hours a day with both inbound and outbound
call automation processes, computer with Intel motherboards
are better performers. Tape back ups are also critical,
if data backups is important and recommended to safeguard
systems in case of complete failure or backing up Do Not

Telephone
Service Requirement for Autodialer Systems:
One or more standard ANALOG telephone lines (business
or residential) or T-1 DIGITAL lines may be used with
this product. Important note: If Buyer/User intends
to use the live call transfer feature, or if Buyer/User
intends to use T-1 lines (24 lines each), please go
to our “Telephone Service Requirements”
for the details needed to properly order telephone service
from a telephone company.
Telephone Service Requirements:
Standard Analog Telephone Lines:
Standard ANALOG telephone lines (business or residential)
are normally used for all of our products using Speedy
Dialer, Intel Dialogic voice boards, and PIKA voice
boards. If, however, the Buyer/User wishes to use T-1
DIGITAL lines (24 lines per cable), please see below
for T-1 details.
VoIP Telephone Service:
VoIP services (such as Vonage) using broadband internet
connections may or may not work properly with our products.
There can be problems due to the quality of the VoIP
service, the amount of band width you have, the amount
of activity on the computer, etc. In addition, most
VoIP companies have restrictions against the use of
autodialer systems. You are welcome to try VoIP service with
our products, but we cannot provide technical support
or guarantee that they will work properly.
Live Call Transfers:
This feature is available with several of our products.
If you are using our inbound voice mail-auto attendant
feature, the person who calls in to your system can
press a key to transfer and speak to someone live. If
you are using our auto dialer feature, the person who
has been called by the autodialer systems can press a key to
transfer to speak to someone live.
Where the call is
transferred will depend on what telephone number you
have designated the call to go. It can be transferred
to any telephone number in the world. But…to be
able to perform live call transfers, the telephone line
used with our product must have one of the two following
services from your telephone company.
Call Transfer Disconnect (or Centrex)
Once the call is transferred, the call is disconnected
from the original telephone line, freeing it up to receive
or place more calls.) (This may be used with our Speedy
Dialer, Dialogic voice board, or PIKA voice board.)
…or…
3-Way Calling
Once the call is transferred, the original phone line
remains in use during the conversation and is not available
to receive or place more calls until the conversation
has ended. (This may be used with Dialogic & PIKA
products, but not with Speedy Dialer.)
T-1 Telephone Lines (24 lines per
cable):
T-1 lines are available for long distance only or local
only calls. When ordering T-1 lines from a telephone
company make certain you understand local vs. long distance
pricing, and if you require Call Transfer, make sure
that “3-way-Calling” or “Call Transfer
Disconnect (Centrex)” is offered with that T-1
carrier. You should also check with your T-1 line supplier
to determine if you will need a CSU Power Module.
Before ordering T-1 lines from a telephone company,
we highly recommend that the Buyer/User contacts our
Technical Support at 806-467-8324 or www.tellacom.net
for assistance.
If Buyer/User orders T-1 telephone lines, give the telephone
company the following provisioning requirements if you
are using a Dialogic voice board:
Framing & Coding: D4 SF / AMI E
& M Immediate
Address Signaling: DTMF
Jack Type: RJ48X |
